Hypnagogic Consternation

I like to work with people outside the genre of music I do and I wanna give credit for the sample source to “Hypnagogic Consternation.” Which I sampled from the film Infiltration, by Charles Chadwick, with a soundtrack by A Tunnel Dialogue (Charles Chadwick, W. Jeff Campsey, and Matthew Bambas).

 

They make some really sick short films  that also fits with some of the work I do. I’ve been talking with “Charles Chadwick” and we got plans to do something custom which might be a track from “Sleep Deprivation” or a new track . Whatever comes from it, it will def be something new and original for the visuals. This is all I can really say for now until we begin working, but keep a lookout right here for any updates.

Over the past year I’ve been building my studio and really digging my way back into producing. When I first started anything to do with rap/hip hop  back in 1998, I was a producer first hence the name “KARDIAC.” So yea after producing and putting together Sleep Deprivation, that’s when I realized it was time for me to produced my own shit for now on. Besides I hate to be that guy asking for beats from everyone even with “friends” they’re the worst.. fuck that. I can produce my own shit the way I like it, instead of having someone else make me some half fast loop to rap on and say “there you go bro” …. nah fuck you bro lol.  I mean don’t get me wrong it is nice to get a sick ass beat time to time from someone who knows how to produce, but it’s not worth getting beats from that person if one, their shit isn’t all that great, & two, it’s not worth the headache. So yea here’s to being self made.

Now on to the reason I made this post, lately I’ve been researching what my next purchase will be to build my studio. I don’t need another drum machine, nor do I need a synthesizer. I just want something that can increase my potential and make producing limitless. Then I found this beast of equipment “THE MASCHINE” made by “Native Instruments.” Watch the video below it will give you some what of an idea what it can do. They have 3 different models, The Maschine Mikro, The Maschine MK2 & The Maschine Studio. I think I might go for the one in the middle The Maschine Mk2 but damn they are all pretty bad ass.

There’s many more of yous out there, and thanks to the ones who support my shit in my own country as well! I wanna thank all of yous, especially my overseas fans. You pay double on the shipping alone, and that still doesn’t stop you from supporting! So on the real Thank You.

SONGS ONLY A MOTHER CAN LOVE 10TH YEAR ANNIVERSARY RE-RELEASE

Around 2001 / 2002, I had just finished up an album called, “Prescription for Death.” I was out promoting that album on radio shows in upstate New York. While promoting, I was already in the process of working on my next album, “Songs Only a Mother Can Love.” Little did I know, things would change for me forever. “Songs Only a Mother Can Love” was my first album that had a distributors funds behind the release, and from a personal perspective, this album seems to be a fan favorite. The album was finished and mastered in 2003, but didn’t hit stores till 2004. So, now I’m proud to say that I’m bringing back, “Songs Only a Mother Can Love,” for it’s 10TH YEAR ANNIVERSARY. The newly revised hard copies have arrived, along with posters that are the same size of the Sleep Deprivation posters. When “Songs Only” originally dropped, they didn’t come with any posters. So, I wanted to make the Re-Release a little more special as well as adding a BONUS TRACK that was recorded in 2004, but was never released. On Friday, July 4th, one day before my birthday, you will all have your chance to grab a hard copy, and re-experience this 2004 release all over again. Anyways, about this video. I think I’m gonna just skip the teaser and hit you all with the official music video. Sleep Deprivation dropped a few months ago and I should have released this video then. I’ve been kind of sidetracked as of late. I had to deal with some personal family things, and I just got my hands on some new production equipment, so I’ve been producing a lot of shit as of late. As you all know, the name of my next release is Sleep Deprivation. I’m sure some of you who have purchased the Filthography CD were expecting something else. The project mentioned in the Filth cd has been put on hold. I picked Sleep Deprivation cause it really fits everything that’s going on right now in my life, like when it comes to my music & work ethic. I’ve been dealing with Sleep Dep among other things for over a couple of years now, so the title puts it all in perspective where I’m at right now in life and where I wanna go with music. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do. I had a blast creating it. You gotta have a pretty well open mind going into this project. I did not limit myself to one subject. Sleep Dep has a little something for everyone’s different taste. A couple of peers from my inner circle that I played it for have said this is def my best work by far. From start to finish, to production & lyrics, Sleep Dep is constantly contorting into something entirely different. It’s a great album to end the year with.

The Unrestrained Warehouse officially has Sleep Deprivation t-shirts. We went all out on these shirts. They’re Double sided print. On the front side, there’s two colors white & red ink on black t-shirts, and white ink on the back of the shirt. Last but not least, on the right cuff of the sleeve is our very own custom design Unrestrained Sounds initials US.  So, on one t-shirt you got three different things going on. They will be well worth the investment if you’re a true supporter. This is only my second official T-shirt design, so you gotta grab yourself one. Now, recently having hats wasn’t something I was really into, but we just invested in our very own silk screen setup. We found a great deal on some black, red & grey beanie hats and said WTF! lets make some sleep dep beanies.  There’s two hat styles one with a cuff and one without. The hat without the cuff is a little smaller, but can still fit any average sized head. Look out for these beanies coming soon to the store. They’ll probably be only $3.50 for a hat you really can’t beat that price. There is a limited supply, so first come first served.

If they sell pretty fast, which I’m thinking they will, I will then go ahead and get more pressed up. For now, I just wanna see if this is something you are all into when it comes to merch. The Sleep Deprivation PM commercial IS HERE! The PM version is a bit more violent. I’m trying to keep a medium cause if I really wanted to do what I wanted to do, the shit would be BANNED! the same day. I won’t be surprised if the PM commercial gets banned, let’s just hope it doesn’t. Don’t stop viewing the AM commercial! A lot of time and hard work went into the making of both videos. We did it all, from filming, editing and even the special fx. We could go out and pay someone but to me that’s just a waste of money that can be invested on something else. I’d rather learn everything myself therefore I have full %100 control. We have finished the teaser for the first music video / short film off Sleep Deprivation last Saturday. We plan to release the teaser on Friday The 13th, the same day the package deals become available.
